JAY-Z is still procrastinating -- though he's yet to complete his long-awaited Blueprint 3, according to the folks at LiveNation he's taking "a break from putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album" to play a "series of intimate performances to connect with fans." We suspect Jigga is just doing some method-style preparation while balling and shot-calling in the nation's finest gambling establishments. But hell, we'll take it. (Casinos may also be the only venues left who can risk losing six-figures on a show, as the University of Arizona did when it paid Jay-Z $750,000 for an appearance but sold only 6100 tickets.) Get your room reservations now: Jay's bringing a band to Mohegan Sun on July 10, one of only five announced gigs on this mini-tour (although a few more dates are said to be in the planning.) Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am here.
