12:40 pm: Massachusetts government at work: "State Rep. Denise Provost (D-Somerville) plans to give the band a State House proclamation at the 9 p.m. show. 'It’s yet another thing to put Somerville on the map,' she said."

4 pm: WickedLocal: Somerville city officials show up to inspect "what is not being confirmed as a U2 show." More Davis Square mayhem, including the media descending on the theater with copters and news cameras, over at their site.
2:12: All pretense of hiding the venue is now dispensed with: the roadies are talking to the Herald. Wonder if, as rumor has it, they're still planning on making the lucky ticket-holders meet at the Museum of Science and then busing them to the now-fairely-well-disclosed location.
