Duke Spirit, Cuts Across the Land

Okay, so we’re not perfect. Back in April, we offered the breathless prediction “This will be your last chance to see UK’s the DUKE SPIRIT in a room as small as T.T. the Bear’s Place.” Wrong! The band — who work the seemingly surefire combination of toothsome blonde mic-humping frontwoman + bits of the Stooges and Goo-era Sonic Youth + fuzz bass — return to T.T.’s tonight.
