Dresden Dolls take the ART
The bio that went out with the Dresden Dolls' Yes Virginia mentioned in passing that they were working on a production with Cambridge's prestigious American Repertory Theatre -- though Spin got their homonyms twisted and reported the title of the play was The Onion Seller. (For clarification: see Gunter Grass's The Tin Drum.) Now scheduled for December, the production still doesn't have exact dates, but the A.R.T. leaked a few more details in a press release detailing its 2006-'07 season.

The Dresden Dolls are taking the world by storm. This punk cabaret duo from Boston are incredible musicians whose smart, personal, intricate songs and mesmerizing live performance have earned them a cult following. Now don’t tell anyone, but there’s a rumor that the Dolls may be appearing at a bizarre underground club somewhere in Cambridge – an Onion Cellar, where the audience peel onions for emotional release, where you never quite know who’s sitting next to you, where your life could change forever.
