FIGCARD |  PAYDIANT | The US has lagged behind the rest of the world in getting people to pay for stuff with their cell phones, but that's going to change this year. A wealth of financial-services companies call Boston home, so it's only fitting to include these two mobile-payment services as ones to watch in 2011. Moving quickly into the space: Fig Card, which aims to turn your iPhone into a credit/debut card, perhaps with Foursquare-like rewards built right in. Also keep an eye out for Paydiant, a newly formed mobile-payment company from some of Boston's mobile-tech all-stars — so new that they haven't even launched a proper Web site yet.
