David Cross

Wilbur Theatre

David Cross has made us laugh in character, as the co-host and creator of the sketch-comedy show Mr. Show with Bob and David and as Tobias Fünke, the cutoffs-wearing "analrapist" (analyst/therapist) in Arrested Development. He's made us laugh in print, with his book I Drink for a Reason and the letter/recording "An Open Letter to Larry the Cable Guy." Tonight, he makes us laugh the old-fashioned way, by standing in front of us and saying funny things, as he brings his satirical, sometimes subversive, always smart comedy to the Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St, Boston | 7 + 9:45 pm | $29-$39 | www.thewilburtheatre.com.
