"8th Annual 'Rock the Village' Fashion and Style Show"
Allston Rock City is known for a lot of things. It has more music venues per capita than any other ’hood in Boston, not to mention dive bars to keep salty old drunks, hipsters, and fratty college kids alike properly watered. One thing Allston has never been known for, however, is fashion. At least not “fashion” as our friends at Stuff might define it. Tonight’s 8th Annual “Rock The Village” Fashion & Style Show at the Brighton Music Hall might change that. The show features designs from more than a dozen Allston-based designers showcased to the beat of a line-up of local bands, and all proceeds go to beautify the neighborhood.
