"Bogus: Famous Works by Unfamous Artists"
This event occurs in the past,
March 28 Through April 21 2011
289 Moody St, Waltham, MA
(view map)
Anyone who’s ever stood in front of the Mona Lisa or some other certifiable artistic masterpiece for the first time and thought — not unabashedly — "This is it?" will appreciate "Bogus: Famous Works By Unfamous Artists,: the new exhibit at the Lincoln Arts Project, a start-up art space in Waltham. LAP put out a call for submissions to local artists: how would you have created, say, The Scream if you’d had the chance? You can see what happened when these artists gave it a try (Guernica, anyone?) at tonight’s reception.
Reception April 1: 7-10 pm
