Alan Williams, Darleen Wilson, and Greg Porter are three musicians who never quit their day jobs — with the result that they’ve all had long careers variously in the fields of academe, sound engineering, and, uh, gourmet tea. But the dream never died, and the long-time trio of collaborators — collectively known as Birdsong at Morning — are now celebrating the release of an audacious, 25-song, four-CD set of beautifully crafted folk, Annals of My Glass House. They’ll be joined by drummer Ben Wittman, percussionist Jerry Leake, and a string quartet.
