6am“No Sandbox on Monday, so soak it all up in ya!” proclaimed
Fletcher as the guys got right to business in the six o clock hour with “Who
Said It?”-Mike from southie was the first caller to score the last
pair of tickets to the Weezer show on September 23rd after guessing
that Special Ed said “He can’t concentrate with balls in his face!” (A comment Ed made after the guys kept
throwing bouncy balls around the studio while Fletcher was diligently
delivering Henry’s news)
The Sandbox was excited this morning when they were talking about The Rolling Stones 100 bands to watch, and Low v. Diamond made the list. “What is Luke holding in his hand, booze,” Fletcher said. Low v. Diamond and Carolina Liar are apparently the nicest guys in the world.
Special Ed has Sports
Check the unbuttoned shirt!
Harmonix's Sean Baptiste has won 2 weeks in a row and looks to keep the run going.
The Boston Globe's Chris Forsberg looks to his army of high school fans to vote for him so he can defeat Sean.
Both of our contestants have ties to the youth movement. Sean with Rock Band and Chris with his coverage of high school sports. Which one will garner the most votes from their demo?
I was fortunate enough to get invited to the Puma Open a few weeks ago.
Somehow I doubt I will be invited back next year.

My brother sent me a link to the TuneGlue Music Map. If you want to kill some time at work and research some of your fav artists, click here.
Special Ed has the sniffles, Fletcher told him to knock it off in the car so he could listen to MGMT
The guys play “Who woke up with Special Ed?” to win a pair of tickets to see Weezer with Angels and Airwaves at the Tsongas Arena on September 23rd. The guys talk bad bedroom etiquette and Charlie grosses Fletcher out by telling him that his kids ate popcorn in his bed leaving all the cornels behind.
If you are a regular listener to The Sandbox you might have caught Professor Earmuffs on the WTF Line.
The real person behind the Professor was Jocelyn Callahan.
Jocelyn was lost to us on Monday as she was making her way home from work.
We were lucky enough to have met her in person at our Miracle on Tremont St.
From Pop Trash this morning... Michael Bay has decided to continue filming "Transformers 2" (which only Special Ed will enjoy) by incorporating Shia's drunken injury into the script. Here's a pic from the set.
The B-side to the Trio's single "Help Me" is a cover of T&S's "Wake Up Exhausted" and Tegan joined them to perform it on AOL Interface.
