Bohemian hotspot the Beehive went all out for its sixth annual Mardi Gras party last month, drawing an international crowd of masked merrymakers to fete Fat Tuesday in true New Orleans style. Chef Rebecca Newell turned out Cajun-inspired dishes, bartenders kept up a steady stream of Bacardi Hurricanes, and the BT New Orleans 2nd Line Brass Band had diners moving in their seats and - once the dinner plates were cleared - on the dance floor.
