Meet the Mayor: Minibar

Welcome to "Meet the Mayor," a segment in which we interview local Foursquare Mayors in their natural habitats.

Minibar
James A. Wooten III

I understand this is a "classy" place?
People think that, but it's actually a place where you can go and have a good drink and some fun with friends. I wouldn't say it's a dive bar, but it's a good place.

How do you define "class"?
Whenever I think of someone with class, I think of a certain level of etiquette...Someone who is intelligent, and not just on book knowledge, but with a sense of what's happening in the world. And politeness. Most people strive to be polite, but it's hard to do. It's simple things, like opening the door for a lady. And doing the right things - or trying to do the right things.

Who's the classiest person you've met here?
There is a gentleman who works here...I won't say his name, because he probably doesn't want me to. But he's always on the up-and-up.

Can we call him "Bob," for the purposes of this interview?
Sure, we can call him "Bob."

... Actually, wouldn't it be classier to call him "Robert?"
It would be classier to call him "Robert." It's a good thing that you picked up on that.
