One of our favorite non-profits around here is Press Pass TV, which teaches local teens how to gather and disseminate news. This vid is from the youth action at the Statehouse in late February, when more than 700 high school students swarmed the building to stand up for their job funding.
This sort of blitz has worked before, as young activists moved the legislature to salvage employment opportunities back in 2009. With protest season underway in Boston, it's exciting to see these kids stand up for themselves. Twitter revolutions are great and all, but sometimes you just have to get up in a legislator's face and make your case.
