booking. My favorite thing to see there is TraniWreck, this alt-drag
extravaganza and performance-art night that happens once a month. But I also go
for ART shows, stand-up, and I think I've seen one rock show there. It's a
versatile room for upscale freaky people - definitely not, like, Theater
District theater types.

people."Maybe I think it's more upscale than it is, but it's
bridging the gap between - I'm trying to think of where you might see
burlesque, or something - Great Scott and the Beehive. The Beehive might have
more straitlaced people. There's more purple hair in the Oberon audience.

He was a
comedy-sidekick-type dude in a couple of Bond movies.If he was a comedy sidekick, he'd probably get a big
kick out of Oberon.
