Continuing this theme of New Music Friday we touched on earlier, local favorites STREIGHT ANGULAR have recorded and released a new track today, the wordy “Muhsheenz Machines Meschynes (We were Machines)”, for free on their Bandcamp. The song, essentially, is a fun and dance-y retelling of Terminator 2, but from the perspective of Arnold Schwarzenegger, if he was less of a murdering robot and more of a happy fleshy person who liked making good music.

Curated by MOUNT PERU'S Mary Flatley, the gates of the famed theater (re)open this Sunday, March 4 with performances by MICHAEL J.
The Boston Rock Club gods giveth, and then they taketh away. Especially in Somerville.
On Monday we broke news that the DAVIS SQUARE THEATER was coming to town, taking over the old Jimmy Tingle Off Broadway location with plans for a 200-person room prepared by the proprietors of nearby Foundry and Saloon, as well as Union Square's Precinct and the Independent.
