Since there’s a bunch of great stuff lying around the New Hampshire tag on Bandcamp, I figured I would give Boston a taste of the best metal/hardcore/punk the Granite State has to offer, divided into the closest sub-genres I could match them. DISCLAIMER: Please don't try to berate me about how some band is way more "technical darkcore doomcore oi punx" than what I said they were; I'm not an expert.
Hey everyone! It’s former Phoenix music intern Sam Ueda, back again with another installment of NEW SAMPSHIRE, updating you on nothing but the coolest shit going on in the good ol’ Granite State.
Why did it take me more than a month to write another post? Because NOTHING HAPPENS HERE. So when it does, I get really excited.
Hey everyone! It’s Sam the Intern, and I am back in my homeland after a rowdy summer in Boston. Why did I leave Boston? I honestly have no clue! But it’s partially because I went back to the University of New Hampshire to work on my degree in journalism. While I’m here, I’m acting as the Phoenix’s out-of-town correspondent, covering all the cool local New Hampshire shows and bands while I attempt to finish college.
