Drug Rug w/The Tune-Yards at the MFA Courtyard from Boston Phoenix on Vimeo.
Drug Rug had a Kings of Leon moment last week mid-way through their set at the Museum of Fine Arts' outdoor courtyard.
“I just realized a bird crapped on my guitar,” quipped Sarah Cronin between songs, sometime around dusk.
When we think of the House of Blues, we don't normally think of a cheap night out on the town. But for five nights a week throughout the month of May, the HOB is
offering free local music in its Front Room (the part generally reserved for
dining). I'm not exactly sure what can be attributed to this rare fit of generosity, but I'm not complaining -- and when you see what's on the roster, neither will you.
