The clip for "Surf's Up America" has been making the rounds for a few weeks now, so instead of just re-posting it we decided to reach out to one of the producers, Loroto's P. Nick Curran (also a Phoenix contributor, and Loroto partner with Addison Post, the video's director), to break down his vision and approach and give us an inside look into the production of the video.
A few weeks ago in we told you that BODEGA GIRLS had swung down to New York to record a new track with a couple of former Bostonians: producer Isom Innis -- the a touring member of Foster the People and the beautiful brains behind underrated local electro-pop outfit Southern Belle, who had a great track in 2010 called "Walk Out" -- and collaborator Anthony Rossomando, who before hooking up with Dirty Pretty Things, Klaxons, and the Libertines was known around this 'hood as a guitarist of the Damn Personals.
