If you've been following this music blog at all for the past month or so, you know we are Waxahatchee superfans here at The Phoenix. Earlier this month, we followed Waxahatchee a/k/a former PS Eliot singer/guitarist Katie Crutchfield around on tour for a week, documenting her stops at a few different towns around New England (in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, etc.
This is the third installment of our tour diary with Waxahatchee, a/k/a Philly-based songwriter Katie Crutchfield, formerly of PS Eliot. Last week we followed Crutchfield and Don Giovanni Records co-founder Joe Steinhardt around New England for a string of shows, taking notes and photos and videos and audio recordings along the way.
BIG EYES are hard working punk rock trio currently based in Seattle, though from clicking through their blog this morning, it appears they are nearly always on tour these days. Former CHEEKY guitarist Kate Eldridge fronts the band, singing and playing guitar, with C.J. Frederick on drums and Mark Bronzino on bass.

Although all of the bands on that showcase were incredible, I do believe we've saved the best for last here. This video is of "Amnesia" by HILLY EYE -- the new post-punk duo of singer/guitarist Amy Klein (formerly of Titus Andronicus) and drummer Catherine Tung.
