If there were two acts that embodied the 2012 sound of BOSTON ACCENTS before it was yanked off the FM dial in July, it'd be GENTLEMEN HALL and CASEY DESMOND. Both electronic-pop-leaning artists have paved new ground in a traditionally rock and roll town, and both hit the stage tomorrow night at the Lansdowne Pub for Night 2 of our WFNX Disorientation series, the next party leading up to the station's re-birth online this coming Halloween.

Just a few weeks before GHall closed out the third night of the BA Funeral Parties -- check the recording of them covering the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony" live at Great Scott that night -- miss Casey Desmond dropped her latest video for "Deja Vu," the title track for her neon-lit full-length coming out later this year. It was the follow-up to the successful "Talking To God" clip, and in this latest spin she's upped the colors, upped the space travel, and upped the everything else. Boston's undisputed electro-pop queen is in fine form here, once again coloring her dance party forest in bright shades of awesome that most of this town's old school rock and roll bastards could never dare.
The video was shot up in New Hampshire in the spring, directed by Vassili Shields and Rodrigo J Lopez with all the art direction led by Desmond herself. Hey, it's her vision and hers alone.
Dance it up with us tomorrow night on Lansdowne Street. Doors are at 7, and Casey's on around 8:30. Get on the guest list, dance up a rainbow, and re-paint the Lansdowne Pub in bright shades of red.
