Class of 2012: Rule give us a tease, Camden release a record, and Young London and Caleb Groh hit Cambridge

Whole lotta CLASS OF 2012 action on this cold, snowy Tuesday afternoon in Boston.

In the video clip below, RULE take us on a sneaky look inside their recent sessions at Mad Oak Studio in Allston, allowing a 16-second peak of the hard rock crew’s debut record set for release this spring. Hey, we'll take it. But we want more.

And speaking of new records, CAMDEN today released their new 7-inch, Getting Around, which also features current Boston Accents fave "(Talking On The) Telephone." You can purchase the double-a-side effort online via Bandcamp/iTunes and pre-order the vinyl through the band’s Cash To Mouth Records homepage (Fun Fact: Cash To Mouth is also putting out the new record from fellow Class of 2012 band DIRTY VIRGINS). Be sure to act fast on that physical-goods order and score a free poster of the Getting Around cover art. We bet you can even get Jason Sibilia to sign that shit for you.

It’s also a good night for live appearances as well, as two Class artists hit Central Square in Cambridge. Fast-rising techno-pop duo YOUNG LONDON, who graced the cover of our Class of 2012 issue, release their self-titled new record tonight at the Middle East alongside Mic Raygun and a host of others, and folksy singer-songwriter CALEB GROH and his array of brilliant sounds hit the stage at T. T. The Bear’s with Herman Dunne. We’ve heard Groh’s new record, Bottomless Coffee, and it’s certain to appear on most year-end best-of lists this December.

The boy got the goods, as they say. That’s Groh in the photo up top.

And if you haven't scored the free 12-track Class of 2012 compilation, well, to quote miss Gewn Stafani -- what'chu waitin for???
