Sunday night on Boston Accents, at the late-breaking recommendation of a trustworthy source, I spun a song released back in February by a trio called FAT CREEPS. I know pretty much nothing about them other than what Facebook tells me: they label themselves as "lazy rock," they are comprised of people named Gracie, Mariam, and Chrissy, they are influenced by LSD, and their common interest begins and ends with Macaulay Culkin.
Like the rest of us, Fat Creeps are "livin ta die." Unlike the rest of us, however, they have a very awesome lo-fi breezy tune called "Nancy Drew" that I've had in my head since the weekend.
If you missed it on Sunday (tsk tsk Molly Bish), listen to it NOW and go see them play it live Friday night at the Massasoit Lodge in Cambridge. It's five bucks, you have no reason not to do this.
