[phlipcam video] Aloud @ Church

Before Henry Beguiristain jumped up on a pool table at Church and shouted his lyrics back at the stage through a megaphone, before the band broke out onto the floor and closed their set with an unplugged Beatles medley jamboree-like sing-a-long, and before the Exile Orchestra provided a few already well-crafted rock songs with an extra layer of slick ambience, Boston's Aloud delivered their powerful brand of harmonious psych-pop in grand fashion last night in the Fens. Here’s a Phlipcam look at an early aural offering from their album release party last night for Exile, the band’s Kickstarter-funded new album that finds Beguiristain and booming-voiced co-Alouder Jen de la Osa creating solid rock and roll muuuusic that’s just plain ol’ weirdly engaging. More to come on last night’s show in next week’s issue of the Phoenix.
