Boston Does Christmas: Eli Paperboy Reed and Barrence Whitfield, "Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday"

Recorded live at the Regent Theater in Arlington during last night's "Rock N Soul Revue" to benefit the Music Museum of New England, we bring you 21st century Boston soul legend ELI PAPERBOY REED teaming up with 20th century Boston soul legend BARRENCE WHITFIELD on a roof-raising version of William Bell's "Everyday Will Be Like a Holiday."

Before you go thinking that they picked a  "Holiday" song, as opposed to a denominationally-specific song, because of the inter-faith nature of their duet, rest assured that the Jewish soul belter from Brooklyn-via-Brookline also took a solo turn on an honest-to-God Christmas blues number, which we will bring you later in the week.

Also check back later this week for new Christmas jingles from JENNY DEE AND THE DEELINQUENTS, SARAH BORGES, MIKE GENT, and WILLIE "LOCO" ALEXANDER.
