Tonight: Harmonix's Oxytocin crew spins at Beat Research

If you missed their live debut back in June, OXYTOCIN returns to take over Beat Research tonight at Enormous Room. That would be a few feet down Mass Ave from the nondescript office above a Walgreens that features prominently in this Sunday's New York Times Magazine cover story on Harmonix and the creation of The Beatles: Rock Band. The Oxytocin project/album -- which collects non-rock, electronic-music-type output from the Harmonix employees who put the virtual and literal Rock in Rock Band -- is still available online, for free. As previously mentioned, we'll have a feature article on the music of the Harmonix crew coming up momentarily online, and on Thursday in the fishwrap. In the meantime, some music . . .
