Ahhh, metal. It's been a while since we checked in with our long-haired bretheren, and in the absence of a decent Ozzfest we found ourselves craving a visit to Mayhem Fest. Actual review and slideshow are coming soon, but in the meantime here's some cheap thrills. Not pictured: Killswitch Engage's props (police whistle, silly string, airhorn), Slayer's new song, that dude who policed every hardcore pit at the Channel showing up again to police the pit during Slayer, the three girls with advanced states of crazybrains who punched our intern in the stomach in the middle of a mosh pit . . . and, jeez, too much to mention at what we like to think of as the world's foremost Facebook of human fuckuppery.
