22 MORE PHOTOS: Passion Pit at Best Music Poll 2009
When we ran into PASSION PIT frontman Michael Angelakos a few hours before his Best Music Poll set on Saturday, he was just passing through Government Center to take his first shower in three days: the band was just coming off a swing of festival dates and their late-night TV debut on Jimmy Fallon, and were about to make the hometown debut of their new configuration, in which Angelakos gets out from behind the keyboard and sings like a madman.

Gaslight Anthem performance? If you came or watched: thank you, thank
you, thank you.
Afterwards, we tagged along with the
Bravery and Airborne Toxic Event guys as they managed to get themselves
kicked out of two bars inside of 15 minutes -- one of which they hadn't
even stepped foot in. Good times.

telecast due to "technical difficulties" -- the nice way of saying we
don't know what the hell we're doing. Keep an eye peeled to the Best Music Poll Concert Museum for all the latest.
you all are quick on the draw -- quicker than us -- we're posting a
