Casey Dienel cuts her hair

Yeah, we'll take a little credit for discovering Casey Dienel: threw her some shine on the Grandma Rock demo back before she signed to Decemberists' old label, Cami hollered at the girl when she put out her album. Pitchfork and them wanna follow, they can follow. People who know, know. But credit where it's due: Daytrotter is blowing the girl up all over the place with the live session she did up in there. We're still in love with the song she gave us, but nothing says BLOG FEVER like when you cover the most famous Pavement song ever and you're a cute, smart girl who plays piano. (Or, as we say up here, pianer.) The Daytrotter dudes limited Casey's cover of "Cut Your Hair" to 1000 downloads, and since we were busy last week and forgot to mention it, you're out of luck.
