Dead poets and drum machines
Photos now over here.
Thanks to everyone who came out and did the damn thing with Caps + Jones + Bananas on Friday night at Enormous Room. The out-of-town squad murdered Central Square, and our gal Jasanne helped us dull the pain with a gingery concoction that was still unnamed when OTD left the building urrrrly, thereby missing some GNR madness later on. Certified Bananas co-host the Audiovandal dropped an oddball hit that had a jampacked-at-10:30pm crowd popping off, only come to realize it was . . . Natasha Bedingfield?! Reciting Byron, Shelley, and Keats over a hip-hop beat? Haven't found an empeefree link to it yet, but DAMN. CB's new July mix, by the way, is a change-up: it's only rock and roll, but we like it.
Side note: we told him to blog this shit, 'cause he's got the photos to prove it: Brendan Funwrecker ran into a G-Unit video shoot in New York recently, with . . . Mobb Deep and MOP. The next day, Spine Magazine starts spreading rumors. Funwrecker: SCOOP DEM, BWOY.
