“Rhode Island voters have a real opportunity to support environmental candidates on Tuesday,” said Sheila Dormody, Rhode Island director of Clean Water Action. “In addition to bringing back two great incumbents, the primaries give us the opportunity to move three more environmental leaders closer to the State House.”
“Rhode Island needs more leaders who will take action to protect our environment and bring green jobs to the state. In the coming session, the general assembly will need to take action to prevent diesel pollution, protect our water supply and curb global warming pollution,” said Dormody. “These candidates have earned Clean Water Action’s endorsement.”
