Anschutz to Metro: drop dead!

Last week, I wrote that representatives of mogul Phil Anschutz were reportedly bidding on Metro's three US papers at a meeting in New York.

But now--after not responding to requests for comment from the Globe and the Denver Post--an Anschutz spokesman is saying there's no there there. (Via Romenesko.)
