As the flacks turn

Thanks to the ever-watchful men and women of State House News Service, we now know that a bunch of spokespeople (spokespersons?) from the '06 gubernatorial election have found gainful new employment. Here's the rundown:

--Kahlil Byrd, whose exit as Deval Patrick's spokesman last spring remains something of a mystery, is now the governor's appointments director.

--Ex-Patrick press secretary Libby DeVecchi is communications director for UMass president Jack Wilson.

--Amy Lambiaso, ex-State House News Service reporter and Kerry Healey spokeswoman, is senior VP for communications over at the Liberty Square Group.

--And Terence Burke--who left a plumb producer's job at WGBH-TV's Greater Boston to work for Tom Reilly's ambiguously structured campaign, where his talents were underutilized, IMHO--is a newly minted senior account executive at Denterlein Worldwide, the Boston PR shop.
