The Kennedy-replacement law: not big in Vegas

I know this thanks to the Massachusetts GOP, which recently emailed out this editorial from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

No question, there's a case to be made against both the Legislature's Senate-appointment switcheroo and the ensuing Paul Kirk pick. That said, why does the Mass. GOP think anyone here gives a fuck about a Las Vegas newspaper's musings on the subject?
