    Amid all the 9/11 memorials and healthcare debates, you might not have heard about a new law that actually will affect your daily life. Specifically, Maine has outlawed "distracted driving," which includes txting while driving, but goes far beyond that, to anything a police officer thinks is distracting you.

    They can't just pull you over for being distracted, but if you do something for which they can pull you over - say, swerving across lane lines or running a red light - you can get a ticket not only for that infraction but also for being distracted.
