We know - it's the time of year for readers' polls and online voting! But it's not just us - the New England Journal of Aesthetic Research (run by Boston Phoenix art writer Greg Cook) has its annual New England Art Awards, honoring both artists and those who curate shows, but also those who write about art.
There are several Maine artists and shows on the ballot, so check out the whole thing - but please pay special attention to the nomination of Annie Larmon's review of a Lauren Fensterstock show at the Ogunuit Museum of Art

Pick up a FREE copy of this week's issue of the Portland Phoenix, and use a pair of scissors (borrow one if you have to) to cut out the artwork by eight local artists, and give them away to friends and family!
