    Steve Meister, a not-exactly-successful seeker of the Democratic nomination in the 1st Congressional District last year (he didn't even beat Ethan Strimling), has a new job - a cushy government one at that!

    He's a nice guy - we truly enjoyed meeting him and his wife when they came down to meet us during the run-up to the primary election.
