Portland Transit Study

Here's something a bit more relevant to Portland, taking place tomorrow evening, at 6:30 p.m., at the Merrill Auditorium.

"The City of Portland invites the public to attend a second public forum and presentation on transportation and public transit and the City’s draft Peninsula Transit Study. A presentation will be made of the results from the first public forum including improved bus routes, alternatives to downtown parking, improving access to car pooling and removing barriers to biking and walking. The presenters will then outline the steps that the city, businesses and individuals can take to reduce the need for cars on the Peninsula and keep Portland a vital and livable city."
