We haven't mentioned this before, but we decided to do a free CD with the festival. It's a 20-band N.E.S.T. compilation CD that will be handed out on the final weekend: show up to a gig September 22 through 24 and you should be able to nab one. (It will also be available in MP3 form online pretty soon.) The official version has artwork and is at the factory, but a few people started begging for them early, so we took a lesson from the streets and bootlegged our own shit.
Remember that Paul Westerberg gig OTD told you about last week? "Official" review is in print this week, paired with a band that makes Robby Roadsteamer sound like Carrot Top.
