Esquire gives Whitehouse the love

Esquire has tabbed Sheldon Whitehouse as one of what the magazine considers the 10 best members of Congress. He was the only freshman to make the list.

A most impressive new senator (elected 2006) and former U. S. attorney, Whitehouse lit into former attorney general Alberto Gonzales with remarkable skill during the hearings on the U. S. attorneys scandal. Few things in Washington have been as satisfying during the past two years. Expect great things.
