Q&A #3: What Now For Cap

Capuano denounced his candidacy for the US Senate special election. What's next for him (Governor's seat?) and should we expect Boston City Councillor Ayanna Pressley to run for congress anytime in the near future?

I think Capuano would love to be governor, and there's certainly a chance he will run in 2014, but my gut right now is he won't. 

Pressley has always seemed like a natural Congressional candidate to me, and the redrawn Capuano district shapes up well for her -- and the timing would be good if he does vacate it in 2014. So yes, I would expect her to be in that race if it happens (along with quite a few others).
