Q&A #2: Ballot Initiatives

What do you think of the three statewide ballot measures? Has there been any comment on them from our Senate candidates?

Medical marijuana will probably pass, although it will likely be much closer than early polls would indicate. "Death with dignity" bill will run up against strong Catholic opposition; at least one poll shows early strong support for the measure, but I don't know that it's a done deal. Right to Repair should be a slam-dunk -- it's hard to find average people who don't have an initial positive reaction to the idea -- but the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers is not going to go down without a fight.

I don't think either Scotto or E-Dubs has endorsed for or against any of the measures, but if anyone knows otherwise, please let me know.
