Globe Endorses At-Large

The Globe did indeed endorse in the at-large council prelim today, as I so brilliantly foresaw yesterday. They went the Herald three better, picking eight candidates -- which kinda makes sense because eight candidates will get through, but kinda doesn't because voters get to pick four on their ballot.

It's also unclear whether the order means something. Nothing in the editorial says the order means anything, or even suggests it, but it sure kinda feels like the candidates are ranked.

Anyway, here's who they pick, in order: Connolly, Murphy, Pressley, Ezedi, Jackson, Arroyo, Fortes, Nguyen.

You'll recall that the Herald went with Connolly, Murphy, Pressley, Ezedi, and Fortes. So, for what it's worth, those candidates got the nod from both major dailies.

Perhaps more importantly, Gonzalez and Kenneally were left off both lists. That's gotta hurt. (Note that both papers picked no white candidates except the two incumbents.)
