Poll: Romney Trails In NH

7News/Suffolk University kicks off its final-week daily tracking poll with this doozy: McCain leading Romney 31%-25%. Ouch!!!

On the Democratic side, the poll has Clinton out to a solid lead over Obama, 34%-22%.

Meanwhile, Romney is going up with a positive ad, while McCain is unleashing a brutal, nasty ad [Web-only, according to Globe blogging] suggesting that if you vote for Mitt Romney, the terrorists win and global armageddon will begin. At least, I think that's what it says.

One more note: RSVPs are required if you want to be there to greet Romney's plane as he arrives at Portsmouth International Airport at 1:30 am January 4th, coming from the Iowa caucuses for his final campaign swing through New Hampshire.
