Is Judd Gregg Nuts?

 Barack Obama is to be commended for trying to fulfill his pledge of assembling a bi-partisan administration. But what has Judd Gregg been smoking to accept the offer? Admittedly, it's not the easiest thing to be a minority senator with a Democratic president. But Secretary of Commerce? Since when did that become a high-profile job? Mickey Kaus has it about right when he says that no one can even name George Bush's last choice for the post. And, in a liberal Democratic administration, Gregg isn't even going to have all that much say at the table.

He must really hate the Senate. But he's left the voters in New Hampshire he was supposed to serve in a really bad position -- not to mention his party. More on that later.
