Preview of Mini-Super Saturday: Expect Obama to Cruise in Louisiana, Nebraska, and Washington -- Ditto for McCain, Though a Huckabee Surprise is Possible
The primaries and caucuses continue today and on the Democratic side, it should be a very good day for Barack Obama with a primary in Louisiana (which has a large number of African-American voters) and caucuses in Nebraska and Washington (he tends to do exceptionally well in caucus states).
On the GOP side, where Kansas is voting rather than Nebraska, McCain will not do as well -- a Huckabee surprise in Louisiana, given his strength in the south, wouldn't be a shock and he could surprise in Kansas too. If those two results go against McCain, the media will be all over the story -- though it won't be as significant as they make it.
Anything other than the expected results, especially on the Democratic side, will be real story.
