Monday night TV: The Riches on FX

For those who haven't yet heard of it for whatever reason, The Riches has been airing Monday nights at 10 on FX for the last few weeks. It follows the lives of a family of Travellers (headed by Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver) who have stolen the lives of a well-to-do family of suburbanites. We haven't seen it yet, but the reviews have not been spectacular and the clips don't look promising. Plus, while on the surface a show about a family of transients faking their way through life in a sheltered community sounds like a cool idea, when it comes down to it, a show about the hidden side of suburbia is something we've seen before.

So why are we bringing it up? Because it gives us an excuse to post clips of Eddie Izzard's standup. If you are a fan of comedy at all and you haven't seen his 1999 special Dress to Kill then you really owe it to yourself to check it out. You can get it off Netflix. These clips don't even come close to doing it justice, but we're pretty sure you'll still enjoy them.
