39,435 people across globe answered a BBC World service poll asking which country has the most negative effect on the world. The United States came in second, behind Iran. First, when we go to war with Iran, we'll clear that shit up and be in the top spot. But this as upsetting as learning that some of the 9/11 hijackers were eating our delicious Pizza Hut pizza, shopping at our low-price Wal-Mart, and sampling our delicious exotic dancers before their flights. We have plenty of positive stuff to give.

The first thought on everyone's mind was: What about France? Slop Culture finds it curious that the results of this poll were announced on the first day of the International Lingerie Show , which takes place where? in Paris. Which leaves snarky American pop culture websites unable to say anything bad about the French until Sunday, when the show wraps up. So this week, we'll be giving the world the Whopperettes, the King, and a football game between teams from Pittsburgh and Seattle, while France gives us the International Lingerie Show. If they were offering the ill-conceived Lingerie Bowl for free, we could give the US a pass. But for now its our Waterloo.
