Brangelina donates 1 million to Doctors Without Borders
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated 1 Milion dollars
to doctors without borders in a response to the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that
two days ago. In one statement the
couple said “We will work very closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to
support the humanitarian efforts on the island and those who have been injured
and left without homes and shelter.”
“Big Jim sings about a product”
This morning we gave away tickets to see spoon in March by
playing the game “Big Jim sings about a product”. Our winner Paula from Weymouth MA
guessed correctly, the answer was tarter sauce.
Even though there was a little bit of controversy from Henry about the
difference between tarter sauce and aoili, everything was sorted out and we had
our winner, congratulations Paula!
“Jay Leno” checks in
For the second time this week, cursing like there is no
tomorrow, Jay Leno was on the phone and despite getting exactly what he wants,
he is still very upset about the situation with NBC.
Maura Johnston Interview
Music blogger Maura Johnston checked into the breakfast show
this morning to talk about the latest music news. The first topic for discussion was American
Idol. Maura said that the season is “off to a rough start”
but says that the show as a whole is trying to regain its footing after the
sudden departure of judge Paula Abdul.
However, Maura and Fletcher both agree that General Larry Platt’s
rendition of “Pants on the ground” has not only saved the show, but has
potential to be the next big hit in the states.
Maura also discussed the status of Vampire
Weekend’s new album which is expected to surpass Kesha’s “Animal” next week. Vampire Weekend’s album is titles “contra”

Erica Corsano from stuff magazine visits the studio to
dicuss the newest Stuff Magazine which features Christian Fauria on the
cover. Speaking of Christian, he joined
the breakfast show on the phone to discuss the magazine as well! Since retiring, the former patriot has
changed his workout and his body all together!
