Meet the Mayor: CVS (Copley Square)
Welcome to "Meet the Mayor," a segment in which we interview local Foursquare Mayors in
their natural habitats.
CVS
Greg Clark
What do you usually
buy here?
Toiletries and cards. I'm a holiday-card fanatic. I send
those out to all my friends. If I know their birthdays, I send out birthday
cards, and if they're married, I send anniversary cards.
Do they also send you
cards?
No.
Do you resent them
for that?
No. That's the way I am. That's the way they are.
So, I've got belated
Halloween questions...
Believe it or not, I don't do any Halloween stuff. Even as a
kid, I didn't care for it. Sure, I liked the candy. What kid doesn't? But I'm
not a costume person. As a kid, I went out, but I hated doing the costumes.
You're huge into
birthdays and anniversaries, but not Halloween?
Well, you don't have to put costumes on for birthdays and
anniversaries. I will say there was one year at the office where I worked when
I did full-on drag. I remember getting dressed in the dress in the men's room.
One of the sales reps walked in, did a double-take, and kind of freaked out.
Did you get along
with that sales rep after that encounter?
Not any more than I already did, no.
