There may be no bigger gluttons for punishment than touring musicians -- and as proof, monthly storytelling series/cringefest "This Has Been A Disaster- Thanks For Having Us" returns for Round 3 tomorrow night at Toad. For this installment, the folks joining hosts Ryan Walsh and Steve Almond to grace the stage with their mortifying tales of gig hell will be Chris Brokaw (Come, Codeine), Ben Potrykus (Girlfriends, Christians & Lions), and Amy Correia.

In the meantime, you can whet your appetite for destruction with the live recording of last month's show, which featured as its first guest of the night Aaron Perrino from the Shelia Divine and Dear Leader. His story takes place at a show in Florida, headlined by Kid Rock, where "the audience was like an episode of Cops." (Later on, he invokes "Cookie Monster Rock.") Perrino also details the Shelia Divines break-up, which involves an on-stage fight and a post-show make-up meal at Bennigan's.

Drew O'Doherty, the show's second guest, brings the audience on the emotional journey of playing on Conan with a broken string and the sage wisdom of Max Weinberg. He also gives the ins and outs of cashing royalty checks that have your name misspelled on them ("O'Dpjrtyu"). Finishing up the show is Mark Pearson, who's two-part story of evading a dirty French squatter comically destroys all fantasies of how easy it is to get laid in a band.
